Cayuga Climbs Announces Summer Programs for Kids

Summer vacation is just starting. If your kids are already bouncing off the walls, consider having them climb walls instead!

Cayuga Climbs, one of Rev’s newest members, is offering week-long climbing camps for kids of all ages. Participants will not only learn climbing and bouldering techniques, but will have the chance to engage in active social activities like ping pong, monitored free climbing, and other group games and activities. The programs are run by experienced local instructors, as well as Keith Liao, owner of Cayuga Climbs.

“Our summer climbing programs, in addition to teaching climbing, will allow kids to meet new friends, learn more about the sport of climbing, and develop problem solving and teamwork skills that can be applied anywhere,” said Liao.

Programs will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday to Friday, and will cost between $200 ($250 for non-members) for the entire week. The July 12-16 camp is open to children ages 8-12, July 19-23 is for children ages 4-7, and the August 2-6 program is for teens ages 13-15.
