Ursa Space Secures $27.9 Million in New Equity Financing 

Ursa Space, an alumni stardom company of Rev: Ithaca Startup Works, has secured $27.9 million in new equity financing from two investors, marking another significant funding milestone for the Ithaca-based geospatial intelligence company. 

Founded in Ithaca in 2014, Ursa Space provides satellite data and geospatial intelligence to help organizations understand changes happening around the world. The company combines satellite imagery, data from more than 60 geospatial partners, and AI-powered analytics to deliver insights for government and commercial customers. 

The latest financing builds on Ursa Space’s continued growth since its time at Rev. In 2022, the company announced a $16 million Series C funding round to support growing demand for satellite data and expand into emerging markets including supply chain optimization, logistics, and insurance. 

Today, Ursa Space continues to expand its geospatial intelligence platform, supporting applications ranging from national security and disaster response to environmental monitoring and global market analysis. Rev is proud to see Ursa Space continue to grow from its roots in Ithaca and reach new milestones in the rapidly evolving space and geospatial technology sector.
