Stay Safe

The space at Rev is currently open to members only. The doors are locked but members  can gain access using their key cards. While working at Rev, masks must be worn at all times and members should keep a six feet distance between yourself and others. Sanitizing and hand washing is strong encouraged. The cleaning team is taking extra steps to disinfect the space and keep you safe.

Rev Member Exclusive: Morning Grind Workshops

Rev Morning Grind Workshops are exclusive to Rev members and companies participating in a Rev affiliated program. The workshops happen on a monthly basis and cover topics relevant to startups and entrepreneurship including sales, website building, staffing and more. Rev members are invited to join Susan Fleming and Brandon Wright for the Perfecting Your Pitch Workshop series. Members will have opportunity to give their virtual pitch and get feedback from EIRs and fellow Rev members.

Entrepreneurs-In-Residence

Entrepreneurs-In-Residence provide mentorship to Rev members. If you would like to schedule a meeting with a Rev EIR, please email [email protected] with who you would like to meet with, the subject of the meeting, and times you are available to meet. A member of the Rev team will then set up a meeting for you. A list of the Rev EIRs can be found below.

Brian Bauer

Brian BauerBrian is the Program Director for clean energy programs within Cornell’s Center for Regional Economic Advancement. He is a seasoned international energy industry executive with extensive experience in oil, natural gas, chemicals, and renewables. Brian has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and and MBA in Operations and Finance.

Nate Cook

Nate Cook is an active attorney in the greater Ithaca community and he represents businesses and individuals in connection with a a wide array of complex commercial business and real estate transactions. Cook has served on the board of directors of several private companies and non-profits.

Susan Fleming, PhD

Dr. Fleming is an experienced executive, educator, speaker, angel investor, and mom. Susan has served on the board of directors of numerous publicly traded companies, private companies, and non-profits. She has also served as a senior lecturer for both Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration and Johnson Graduate School of Management. Contact Susan at [email protected].

Alex Hagen

Alex HagenAlex Hagen is a serial entrepreneur with almost fifteen years of operational, financial, and business strategy experience at both startups and large corporations. He is currently the CEO at ShrubBucket.com, an online order aggregation business that has the goal of disrupting the gardening industry, and was previously the Director of the Southern Tier Clean Energy Incubator. Alex holds a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University.

Elisa Miller-Out

Elisa currently serves as the managing partner at Chloe Capital and is a co-founder of PollQ. In 2016, she oversaw a successful acquisition deal with a division of Singlebrook. She has launched several networking groups and regularly serves as a mentor and judge for startup accelerators and competitions.

Ken Rother

Ken RotherKen Rother is the Director of Rev and its Hardware Accelerator program, he also manages Cornell’s eLab student accelerator program and teaches entrepreneurship at the Johnson School. Ken has held multiple senior business and technical positions for organizations such as Discovery  Communications, Reuters, Matrox, and the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Stephen Sauer

Steve Sauer HeadshotStephen Sauer, Ph. D is a Senior Lecturer of Management and Organizations at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. His research and teaching activities focus on issues of leadership, team processes, and status and diversity in management. Sauer’s teaching experience includes courses in Leadership, Strategy, Negotiations, and Organizational Behavior at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Bennett Thomas

Bennett Thomas HeadshotBennett Thomas is Co-Founder and General Parter of Triple Impact Capital, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in startups creating products and services driving financial, environmental and social impact.

Previously, he served as a Senior Vice President of Finance & Sustainability with Hersha Hotels & Resorts, a publicly traded (NYSE: HT) investment firm with a portfolio of upscale, luxury and lifestyle hotels in urban U.S. markets. Prior to Hersha, Thomas served as Senior Manager in mergers & acquisitions with Medco, a Fortune 50 healthcare company, as a Senior Technology consultant with Ernest & Young, and as a Fund Manger with BR Ventures, Cornell’s student-run venture fund.

Brad Treat
