About Capro-X

Capro-X is a sustainable ag-tech startup using natural fermentation to upcycle food industry byproducts into clean water and green alternatives to unsustainable palm oil chemicals. Today, Capro-X is focused on treating acid whey, a problematic byproduct from Greek yogurt production, and producing biofuels and bioplastics. We were recently awarded NSF and EPA SBIR Phase 1 and 2 grants – and have also won key pitch competitions in the agtech space to fuel our growth (FoodBytes! by Rabobank and Grow-NY) – and are searching for interns who are excited about improving the sustainability of the food and ag space.
