The Hidden Power of Female Entrepreneurship, with Lisa Ann Pinkerton

March 24, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Rev: Ithaca Startup Works and the Cornell Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise are pleased to present this opening lecture to the Cornell Business Impact Symposium on Friday, March 24 at Rev: Ithaca Startup Works, from women’s entrepreneurship and cleantech leader Lisa Ann Pinkerton!

Starting from day one, female entrepreneurs discover that while their way of going about business may not look like the traditional method, it can be just as effective, even more so. By embracing their natural management styles, setting their own corporate culture, and leading by example, women are showing the world that their way of doing business is the future of commerce for the 21st Century.

In this special presentation, founder and President of Technica Communications and Founder and Chairwoman of Women in Cleantech & Sustainability, Lisa Ann Pinkerton will connect the dots surrounding why women lead businesses deliver higher revenues and stronger returns for investors than more traditionally run businesses and how both genders can embrace their feminine leadership styles to thrive throughout their careers.

The event is free, but please RSVP here to reserve your spot!

Doors open at Rev at 5pm, talk begins at 5:30pm, with a reception to follow.

If you need accommodations to attend this event, please contact Kristin Hopkins at [email protected].
