Presentations @Rev: Networking Like a Rock Star

Networking can seem so natural at time and a pain at others. Even when you have a positive interaction with someone at an event, how can you ensure that it’s effective? There’s a Presentation @Rev for that! Marti Fischer of Marti Fischer Group, LLC. will present October 1st at Rev: Ithaca Startup Works on the power of networking in a mini-workshop entitled “Network Like A Rock Star”.

Marti is the principal at Marti Fischer Group, LLC. Her work guides individuals, nonprofit organizations, and businesses to communicate effectively about their work and its value. Marti is a co-author of The Nonprofit Consulting Playbook, radio host of ‘Community Discussions’ on WPKN-FM, adjunct professor at Baruch College, and a frequent presenter and trainer in communication tools, professional development skills, and fundraising. She received a B.A. in Art History and Economics from Sarah Lawrence College and a professional certificate in Fundraising from NYU.
