Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant, full-time, to take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working directly with business owners, and wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving start-up environment. You’ll handle everything from bookkeeping and payroll to financial reporting and cash flow tracking.

Location:

Salary Range:
$60,000 to $75,000 (depending on education, experience, and language skills)

Job Openings:

Position Description: Accountant (Full-time)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all daily bookkeeping tasks, including:

    • Invoicing and billing

    • Accounts payable and receivable

    • Bank and credit card reconciliations

    • General ledger entries

  • Manage monthly close processes and prepare financial reports for leadership.

  • Process payroll and ensure tax filings and deductions are accurate and timely.

  • Track and report on cash flow, budgets, and spending trends.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and organize documentation for tax season and audits.

  • Consolidate accounting of subsidiary companies.

  • Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

  • Work with external accountants for year-end tax preparation and filings.

  • Recommend and help implement more efficient accounting processes or systems as the business grows.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience, ideally in a small business setting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with QuickBooks software.

  • Experience managing payroll and working with outside accountants.

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating directly with leadership.

Nice to Have:

  • Working knowledge of Spanish (preferred)

  • Experience with consolidated accounting with subsidiary companies

  • Experience with process improvement or implementing new tools/software
