DESCRIPTION:Rev members are invited to stop by and meet with Hayden Brainard\, Partner\, and David Wilks\, Associate from Miller Mayer LLP on Wednesday\, August 30 during open office hours. Both Hayden and David are excited to connect with local entrepreneurs\, answer any questions about legal issues\, and share feedback. \nOffice Hours will be held 9:00am-12:00pm & pre-registration is required for a 30-minute session. \nRegister Here! \nAbout Hayden Braindard\nHayden R. Brainard\, Jr.\, is a Partner in Miller Mayer’s Business Law and Intellectual Property practice groups. \nMr. Brainard focuses his practice on business and intellectual property law. His business practice includes advising entrepreneurs and small and medium size businesses in formation and governance\, employment matters\, commercial real estate\, mergers and acquisitions\, licensing\, succession planning\, and financing\, including venture capital. Mr. Brainard’s intellectual property law practice includes advising clients in intellectual property protection\, trademark and copyright registration\, licensing\, negotiation and preparation of software development and service agreements and trade secret protection. \nMr. Brainard is a member of the New York State and Connecticut bars and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University and his M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His undergraduate degree in Economics is from Syracuse University. \n  \nAbout David Wilks\nDavid J. Wilks is an Associate in Miller Mayer’s Immigration practice group. \nMr. Wilks’ practice focuses primarily on employment-based immigration. He has represented a wide range of clients\, including universities\, multinational corporations\, health care institutions\, small businesses and entrepreneurs in seeking immigrant and nonimmigrant status for individuals in diverse fields and specialties. Mr. Wilks has also provided immigration expertise relating to large corporate acquisitions\, as well as assisted clients with I-9 compliance and family-based petitions for permanent residence. \nMr. Wilks currently serves on national leadership committees with the American Immigration Lawyers Association. In addition\, Mr. Wilks has spoken both nationally and internationally on matters related to immigration law. \nMr. Wilks is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association\, and is licensed by the New York State bar. He received his B.A.\, cum laude\, from Brigham Young University\, and his J.D. from Cornell Law School. \n
